Pyro Bright
Flash is used by thousands of schools in the United States. The system
meets all of the requirements for fully automatic timing as
specified by the NCAA, USATF and IAAF.
In a
typical setup, the Pyro Bright Flash timer is aimed at the
starting pistol at the start of the race and is triggered by the
flash of the gun. The
FlashTiming
video camera is located at the finish
line and each runner is recorded as they cross. The Pyro
Bright Flash interface adds time information to the video and
the information is recorded on a computer with the
FlashTiming
software. At the
end of each race, the video is played back and the times and
places for all the runners are recorded. |
