In some venues, especially those located near cellular towers or in areas with high levels of RF activity, communication can be affected by radio interference. This new radio technology is designed to overcome these challenges, delivering faster, more dependable wireless performance.
Extensive testing at a variety of venues, including locations with challenging RF environments confirms the performance and dependability of the new radio technology under real-world operating conditions.
The new RF radio modules feature:
- Advanced out-of-band noise filtering that minimizes interference from nearby RF sources, improving data transmission speed and reliability.
- Long-range wireless connectivity for reliable communication across the timing system.
These improvements provide more consistent communication in challenging RF environments, helping meet officials and timing crews keep events running smoothly.
FlashTiming FAT systems will ship with these upgraded radios as standard equipment beginning September 1st, 2026.
